Obmenu is a menu editor designed for openbox. It's easy to use, allowing to get the most out of the powerful Openbox menu system, while hiding the xml layout from the user. It also (optionally) installs a bunch of dynamic menus (pipe menus), such as Gnome menus or a quick-navigator. You can also use the obxml module to easily write pipe menus of your own in Python. What is Openbox? Openbox is a free window manager for X11. It can be used on its own, or use it with Gnome or KDE. It's lightweight, fast and highly configurable. Why a graphical menu editor? Because Openbox menus are written in XML, what gives them a lot of flexibility; but make them harder to edit. It's just too much work to write a big menu from scratch or even adding a single program. Dependecies Python 2.3 or better, pygtk and pyglade. Grab it now! Latest version (1.0) can be reached here.
